Welcome to the Distance Learning Center
De Anza College, one of 108 California Community Colleges, is located in the Silicon Valley/San Francisco
Bay Area. The Distance Learning Center offers students an alternative to traditional classroom studies with
courses available through a variety media including, cable TV, online, videoconferencing and mixed media.
Courses are designed to accommodate both students who prefer courses that do not require on-campus meetings
and students who want some face-to-face contact with instructors and classmates. De Anza courses parallel
the first two years of four-year degree program requirements of the University of California, California
State University, and private colleges and universities.
